Avaritia's first appearance is in episode 2 where he calls Kakeru, Yuka and Misuzu "Fragments" and claims they shouldn't exist. From here on Avaritia's presence in the anime is sparse until episode 10 when his arm is blasted off, leading to Liselotte's escape from the Crystal. When Liselotte is free, she reveals that Avaritia gave up his human form to keep her sealed away. While fighting Liselotte along with Shiori and Superbia in episode 11, Avaritia shows his true power by transforming into a huge dragon, which Liselotte calls "Georguis"—the world's mightiest dragon capable of killing all evil. When Superbia manages to immobilize Liselotte, Avaritia attempts to kill her with an intense blast, which is shown to have failed later on in the episode when Superbia reveals to Kakeru and Misuzu that everyone had died while fighting Liselotte. Superbia also reveals that she was in love with Avaritia, as they had met over 50 years ago. During the final battle with Liselotte, Avaritia manages to hold her at bay as Superbia explains her plan to Kakeru and Misuzu. Avaritia becomes badly injured and Liselotte eventually escapes and begins to attack again. As Misuzu and Misao launch an attack at Liselotte, she dodges it easily saying it was useless; however, Kakeru had seen her dodge in a vision, and appeared behind her. He activates Shiori's crystal in which it begins sucking her into the dimension. As Liselotte is about to attack Kakeru and escape however, Avaritia appears behind her and grabs her, sucking them both in the other dimension, trapped forever to the despair of Superbia. 11eyes OVA: Avaritia makes a small cameo in the 11eyes OVA. When Kakeru and the others are heading towards the Crystal Tower they begin to hear someone in pain. However, when they run in, they find Avaritia tied up, with Liselotte in a very revealing outfit holding a whip. As Avaritia begins to talk to everyone, Liselotte begins to whip him saying he shouldn't be looking anywhere else except her.
