He seemed to be amused by Aoi's behavior around Kio, quickly recognizing that she wasn't acting. Though initially portraying himself with a somewhat cocky attitude, he appears genuinely frightened by Aoi's "Aport" ability. The last mission he gives Aoi was for the elimination of Eris and Kio.
