Garda is a Maurenia Baboon, a species which originated from the Dark Continent. She was used in gladiator battles in the Reim Empire Colosseum and has killed more than 100 gladiators. She is the first opponent Alibaba faces in the Colosseum.
After the battle, Alibaba buys Garda and releases her. She grows attached to him. In Chapter 200, while lying about having a girlfriend, Alibaba ends up describing Garda. He mentions a time she stayed up all night to nurse him back to health when he was injured.
