Sanada Genichiroh's grandfather. He seems to like playing the japanese board game Shogi and has a personality strikingly similar to that of his grandson Genichiroh. Additionally he seems to have a rivalry with Tezuka Kunimitsu's grandfather, which is quite similar to the rivalry between Sanada Genichiroh and Tezuka Kunimitsu.
