Harada is Hiramoto's friend and also works in the Green Auto Shop who helped him tune his R32 to race with the Devil Z and the Blackbird on the Wangan. He drives a Nissan Fairlady Z31 in which its engine overheated when he encountered the Blackbird and tried to chase after it.
