Jacques was one of the homeless children who lived with Gaspard in Paris. He used to polish shoes in the streets of Paris. Jacques also became Remi's friend. In the last episode of "Ie Naki Ko Remi," Jacques and the rest of the children that were once forced to work by Gaspard were adopted by Mrs. Milligan, the real mother of Remi.
