The mother of Amuro Ray and wife of Tem Ray. She remained on Earth while Tem and Amuro went to Side 7, later aiding at a refugee camp. After reuniting with Amuro in their hometown, Amuro was forced to defend himself against Zeon soldiers, causing Kamaria to fear what Amuro had "become", believing he has grown violent and wild and that she does not even know him.
