As head of the Kisaragi Family and the spiritual leader of the Black Roses, Kisaragi believes that both science and foolish men (now extinct) have directly caused the downfall of the human species. Furthermore, if the world is on a course for ruin, the remaining women should simply let extinction run its course rather than look for hope in the science that caused those problems--instead electing to enjoy what remaining life they have. Kisaragi herself is a product of a genetic experiment, and is half human and half jellyfish. She has pale skin, long white hair, and gills down the sides of her body.
