One of Kuromine Asahi's close friends. He is potrayed as stoic and cool. He also plays a large part in pushing Asahi towards Shiragami. It is revealed later that he is in love with Akemi Mikan. It is also revealed that throughout middle school he had the ability to read minds, leading him to distance himself from people, seeing most as dishonest. However as time passed this ability has lessened and he can only hear pieces of peoples thoughts. Later on he confesses to Mikan, but is turned down because she is still in love with Kuromine. However he does not give up, and continues to tell her that he loves her whenever there is an opportunity.
