Ramon is a friend of Jerome Barberin. He lives in a town next to Chavanon Village. When Jerome was hospitalized because of the serious injury that he received while working in Paris, Ramon was the one who lent him the money that paid his very high hospital charges. To return the favor, Jerome promised to Ramon that he would give Rousette (Barberin family's cow) to him. In the end, Rousette was given to Ramon.
