As a another primary villain in the series, Sanada Yukimura intended to revived the Toyotomi Clan's former glory by kidnapping the Insect Magistrate (rumored to be a relative of the fallen Toyotomi Clan) while crush the Tokugawa clan and humanity. It was later on reveled that he was also once a human who served the Toyotomi Clan, he got turned into a humanlike insect by the same insect pupa that Princess Naa saved while attempting to save his lord in a burning castle.
