The 28th of Arhat, Sharak Sanzou in Saiyuki Reload Blast, is one of the last remaining Sanzou to be accounted for. At the time that the Sanzou Ikkou arrives in India, she along with Genjou Sanzou and Ukoku Sanzou (presently going by Dr. Ni,) are the only Sanzou Priests still living. She is also thus far revealed, the only female Sanzou ever to appear in the Saiyuki Universe. Sharak is charged with protecting the Kouten Scripture, which is traditionally known to govern the Unknown and the Infinite, yet which she says is charged with Defense.
