A young high school student who accompanies Sakurako on her bone digging adventures. He often has to keep her in line whenever she finds bones and tries to keep them, resulting in Shoutarou calling the police every time they find remains. Sakurako always refers to Shoutarou as "shounen," or boy, which he dislikes.
