She mistakenly thinks Sugiyama-senpai is the one who helped her and is devastated after he rejects her. After she finds out that Aki is actually the one who helped her, she soon falls in love with him and even confesses to him. She tells Aki he doesn't need to give her an answer to her confession. Toba confesses to her in chapter 23.
