Zenichi Innami was the first true gambler Tetsuya met. When they meet in Shinjuku again, Innami is a drug addict and uses the money he makes playing Mahjong to buy Hiropon. He claims to has an "All-Seeing Eye" which gives him the ability to see through the tiles. In fact, he has an incredible memory and is able to memorize the tiles by the different pattern of their backs.
