Nozomi Hayasaka is 25 years old, but looks like she's 15 (much to her chagrin). One day, will walking along the street during the day, she's stopped by a man asking why she isn't in school.

It turns out the man, Shigeru Yoshida, is currently a junior high school teacher. He also turns out to be one year younger than Nozomi and someone who looked up to her in school. The series follows them as they start dating and falling in love.
