Saori Atsumi began her music career in 2004, at the age of 15, with the single "Mou Sukoshi... Mou Sukoshi..." She has written for Kanae Itou, Kanemoto Hisako, and others, as well as creating her own music.

She likes the moon, stars and chocolate. Her favorite artists are Ayano Tsuji, Suzanne Vega, Kazuyoshi Saitou, Magokoro Brothers, Kazuyoshi Nakamura, Hatsukoi no Arashi, Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi, and The Boom.
